So, incase you were wondering, "What exactly are you guys fundraising for?" It's for a couple of things. Simply put, it's for adoption expenses and mission trip funding.
As many of you know we are in the process of adopting a sibling group through Oklahoma's foster care system. That is a sibling group of
four! Aside from some associated costs of the actual adoption, you might imagine jumping from a family of five to a family of nine is a pretty
big massive shift. A majority of the funds raised will go toward things related to an exploding family. Things like furniture, clothing, school supplies, and a biggie;
transportation! Can you say 12 passenger van?!
We are also continually fundraising for our mission trips with Visting Orphans. We are excited that one of our children will be going with us on our next trip to Uganda and Ethiopia in June 2012! Part of the funds will not only go towards the costs associated with the travel part of the missions, but for donations and supplies as well!
