Progress on Gods time

For a while after we returned from Africa, I was in writing mode. I was in some sort of writing frenzy.   Looking back at the past handful of months, I come to the realization that I've contributed very little to this blog and our readers.   It's time to get back in the writing groove.

But now I sit here, racking my brain about what to write about. Like the past six months have been uninteresting and uneventful.  Adoption is anything but uninteresting or uneventful.   I guess in comparison to the Africa trip, its hard (for me anyway) to make the transition to what seems like writing about myself.

Contrary to what the volume of blog posts may seem, God is still hard at work in our family. While the memory of our first mission to Africa is still vivid and burdensome in our hearts, it's time to start looking forward. Plan on seeing plenty more posts about what God is working on in our lives.

We've been praying for quite some time for God to keep us busy in 2011 for his plan. And so far, He's done exactly that. But its been on his time. And that is just the way we would have it. So what are some of the things we have going on?  Adoption!  Another trip to Uganda!  Those are definites!  We are also praying about and trying to get involved with a new orphan care ministry at the church. This is a giant opportunity for our church family to make a major impact for orphans in Oklahoma, America and around the world!

I'm sure I've missed something. That's okay though, that gives us something else to post about. And we'll post again soon!
