A modern day Moses

There are few people I have met in my life who have convicted me like the amazing man we met from sixtyfeet, Moses.  He is the local coordinator for their ministry, and the bringer of good news to the hundreds of children at M1, M2 and M3.  To say he is a great man is like saying a sunset over the mountains is "pretty".  It just doesn't do it.

His own personal story is one that starts with him growing up in great wealth, then ending up nearly destitute when his father died.  He was an heir to much, then had all of it stripped away by jealous and greedy relatives.  But God made him heir to a greater crown.  To one that would show him everlasting glory with the most high King!

And, through his work, God has also showed him why he needed to walk through the struggles of his youth.  Because, now he can relate to the stories of the boys he serves.  He understands their fears and what drives them.  And now he has the opportunity and great privilege to show them how they too are heirs to a great kingdom that spreads out forever and ever, far beyond the metal bars that hold them in this world.

Join me in praying for Moses, and please go to sixtyfeet.org and read about the work they are doing.  Watch the videos and ask God how you might share in the joy of teaching these young prisoners how to claim their royal inheritance in Christ.
